New web site for credit union
Our credit union rolled out our new web site this past week at www.capitalareafcu.org; as mentioned previously, we hired a web design oufit to develop this design using the Wordpress software which allows users to easily maintain content without getting mired in technical detail. This development project inspired me to investigate the Wordpress product and has caused me to become another crazed on-line publisher in blogdom.
If you go to the “contact-us” page at the credit union’s new web site, you can see an image of our new building that I took: the original had to be adjusted for perspective (my wide angle lens caused the building’s right and left side walls appear slanted) and I painted out a handicap-parking sign and post to the left of the front door.

Blog re-alignment project
We are working on re-arranging our blog portfolio; a blog at ncwyt.wordpress.com called “NCWYT” or No one Cares What You Think, will become the on-line comment site for any sort of blathering to my people. This blog (blogJOG) will be re-done, design-and-layout-wise, and will provide updates on my projects.
We will be catching up on our blog for the Smithfield Plantation and working on a web site using the Wordpress blog software for the annual Kiwanis Club auction.

Pointless, incessant barking
A New Yorker cartoon of recent vintage had a dog talking to another and saying, “I had my own blog for awhile, but I went back to just pointless, incessant barking.”
This sums up what this blog is all about; we are not sure what value this blog provides and this goes for most of the blogs out there.
