New server installed at work
Last week and this week at the CU: we installed a new Dell server that replaced the server installed 3/2002 which had the Windows NT 4 operating system (this is ancient software that Microsoft no longer supports). This would have been a big deal a year ago but we changed processing architecture last year and significantly decreased the use of this old server to run core applications (most everything is done on a dedicated server at our data processor via a T1 broadband connection). So, the only processing at risk was accounting. So far, everything is working smoothly.
