john’s online Journal celebrating open-source software

We are working on re-arranging our blog portfolio; a blog at ncwyt.wordpress.com called “NCWYT” or No one Cares What You Think, will become the on-line comment site for any sort of blathering to my people.  This blog (blogJOG)  will be re-done, design-and-layout-wise, and will provide updates on my projects.

We will be catching up on our blog for the Smithfield Plantation and working on a web site using the Wordpress blog software for the annual Kiwanis Club auction.

The home page / web site project for GregMaine.com has moved to deploy and maintain mode; you can check it out: www.GregMaine.com. As promised, it has been developed by tweaking a WordPress blogging theme design from a guy named Ed Merritt of the UK. Links and attribution to his other work are available at gregmaine.com.

An added feature of the new site is direct link to Sherry’s real estate site at SherylGregory.com; it will take some time, but a set of galleries are in development stage for posting to the “Image Gallery” page on the updated site.

There is nothing fancy in this artwork; this is the image captured by the camera (no filters or lighting adjustments applied). Text was added in separate layers per the GIMP software “text” tool and then all layers are merged into a final file.
